How it works!!
IMPORTANT: Online Bookings must be made at least 12 hours in advance!!!!
(Bookings for the following day close at 6pm, NO exceptions)
But you can rent in-store anytime we are open......bookings are NOT required.
New customers to SLR that book online will be required to register their details on our in store Rental system. They will then be fitted in store by our expert staff.
For existing/returning customers that book online, we will endeavour to have your rental equipment setup and ready to go based on your previous rental. (Even if you rented from us in the previous year(s), the database requires details to be updated on a yearly basis. Customer's height, weight, age and experience level can change and therefore resets every 180 days. We may also need to add other details such as if you have purchased new boots etc, and to update/check your ID).
Avoid queues, and receive the fastest rental service in town!!
Book Now below for your first day of Rental:
Book online and pay for the first day's rental only (save up to 20% on Day 1). You can keep the equipment for as long as you require, and payment for any additional days will be settled when the equipment is returned. If BOTH Turoa and Whakapapa are closed for the day, then there is no charge for the hire of equipment for that specific day if returned by 10am.
For our amazing up to 7 Day Rental Deal, just book online and pay for the first day. Payment for the outstanding balance for the 7 Day Rental Deal is made when you arrive in store and pick up your gear. If BOTH Turoa and Whakapapa are closed for 4 days or more (excluding Alpine Meadow/Happy Valley) during your week, you will be refunded for the days the ski area(s) were closed. If you feel the need, we can service your rented skis/board free of charge after 3 days use up the mountain.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE PROCEEDING!!
1: Choose the start date for your rental. If you choose a multi day rental you will be told the total cost. BUT you will only pay for the first day online. The remaining balance is due once you have returned the equipment.
2: Choose the equipment you want. You will then be asked to enter your personal details, after which you can add any additional items such as helmets, clothing etc.
3: To add any additional people, click the "ADD PERSON" box on the far left of the screen and fill in their details. Then choose their equipment.
4: Click NEXT to go to the summary page and review your selections. Fill in your contact information on the right hand side, and click that you have agreed to our terms and conditions.
5: If any of your order needs to be changed (adding equipment/additional people) after you've proceeded to the summary page, please go to the TOP of the page and click the 'shopping cart' logo. (Please avoid using the browser back button)
6: If you want to pickup the equipment the night before, please write that in the "NOTES" field
7: Click PROCEED and go thru to the PayPal site and make payment.
Please note there can be up to a 30sec delay clicking thru to payment site (PayPal). Please do not double click or press the BACK button, as this could clear your order.
(Sports Rental is a German based and hosted online booking system, so sometimes you may see German text appear while the website is loading)
